Whether picking up a cane for the first time or an old hand at Bastinado, this exciting and informative class, will introduce you to the fine art of caning; from its history in various cultures, to all sorts of interesting ways and places to cane – many of which will be demonstrated. You will also be provided plenty of time to work hands-on with direct instruction. This is a Foundations class and differs from the usual class in that the goal is to instruct you not only on the use, care and handling of a cane, but to give you the toolset to be able to walk into a public dungeon or private party and create a hot and satisfying scene from negotiation to scene management to aftercare. Whether you are just starting to explore an interest in canes or are already a dedicated fan, this class will probably teach you something you didn’t know.
