What is The Las Vegas Toolbox?

If you’re going to build a house you need some basic tools to build it. It’s the same with building your BDSM, kink and fetish interests – you’ll need to know what tools you can play with. The Vegas Toolbox follows a tradition of leather education to provide leather, kinky and BDSM individuals with the tools they need to play with others, build community, and be the best versions of themselves. Fill your toolbox by coming to hang out with us at munches, meet up with your friends in a class, or practice your skills at a play party. Contributing to Growing Vegas Toolbox

Vegas Toolbox is going a year strong and we are growing! More people means more hands on deck to help grow the Leather, BDSM and kink community. Outside of the classroom we are always open to volunteers. There are more volunteers that help run things behind the scenes (Prefect, Sergeant Major, Student Adviser and Scheduler) and Vegas Toolbox is very thankful for their time and energy! Transportation ScrewDriver (OPEN): Sometimes when our presenters come into town, they need assistance with getting around the city. Our presenters are great people who donate their idea, heart, passion and time to come and visit us. We do our best to make their teaching experience as pleasurable as possible. Offering a ride to/from the airport…

Financial Donations Are Welcome

We are always welcoming help and resources to help build our leather community. If you would like to provide a financial contribution to our cause we would be greatly appreciated. Financial contributions cover things like cost of rent, class room supplies (toiletries, snacks, things to ease the presenters cost), travel funds, funds for parties and creating larger fundraisers. All of the Las Vegas Toolbox Staff are unpaid volunteers who invest their time and love into making the Las Vegas Toolbox educational program grow.

Volunteers Welcomed

The Vegas Toolbox community is for everyone that wants to be part of it. It takes a village to create a community and we need the help of every imaginative kinkster to build a kinky community. From setting up and tearing down at classes, volunteering hours in community events or lending a helping hand at play parties.

Student Ambassador

How do I become a Student Ambassador? In the old days of leather one needed to be vetted first. That included coming around the bar/venue/event for several times so that the leatherman and kinky folks began to trust you. Once a person began to interact with the men in the bars and proved they weren’t a cop, they would be introduced to more and more dirty secrets. If a male wanted to learn more about a kink he would have to prove himself not a cop by coming around the bar several times and engaging in kinky sex. Once a person proved themselves, they could be taken under the wing of a leatherman and would be proven trustworthy enough to learn…

Is it safe for me?

The Las Vegas Toolbox takes consent violations seriously. Consent violations consist of things being done/said/cohorsed against a person’s will. Please tell someone from the admin team if you have experienced this.  The Las Vegas Toolbox takes precautions to ensure the safety of it’s students. This could include asking potentially harmful or dangerous students to not partake in class, to reserving the right to run a basic background check on individuals to ensure they are not on the sex offender registry.  Vegas Toolbox will never ask you to purchase, sign up, or give us information without your consent. We are concerned about the privacy of our students. Please read the privacy rules for more information.  Vegas Toolbox does NOT tolerate discrimination of…

What if I’m offended or triggered by something that happened in class?

If something in class is triggering, please feel free to leave the classroom quietly without waiting to be excused. As a personal request, we ask that you allow one of the admin team to check in with you before you leave to talk about what has come up for you. While we are not not trained therapists, we are building a community and that means taking care of each other physically and mentally. (Also see SSC)

Yeah…but what is leather?

For some it is the values one holds, to some it’s the way you play and still to others it’s the clothing one wears to express themselves. Leather means different things to many different people. If you are curious about the leather lifestyle and what it means, we encourage you to attend a class with us and discover what it means for you.

What’s this stuff about Leather Traditions?

Vegas Toolbox builds it’s foundation on a few core leather principles that were share among the courageous men, women and others that came before us and have made sacrifices to advance the sexual freedoms we have today. Three of the core leather principles we build our foundation on are Respect, Honor and Integrity. We also work to create a safe environment at Vegas Toolbox through a tradition of vetting our students. Click on the link for Vegas Toolbox Student Ambassadors to view details.
