February 12 – You Don’t Have To Get Ready If You Stay Ready

Are You Ready?

This interactive, guided conversation centers on harm-reduction strategies that meet people exactly where they are — because pleasure, connection, and safety can coexist. Whatever your fun looks like, this space is designed to support safer, informed, and intentional choices.

We’ll explore practical harm-reduction tools, safer sex practices, and real-life strategies to reduce risk while honoring autonomy and lived experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, curiosity, and scenarios into a stigma-free, affirming environment where honesty is welcomed, and judgment is not.

This class is open only to students of Vegas Toolbox who have attended orientation.

About Our Presenter: Rob Phoenix and JP Coleman-Phoenix:

Rob Phoenix

Rob has been part of the Las Vegas LGBTQ+ community for nearly 30 years and brings heart, humor, and a strong sense of service wherever he goes. Always curious and open to personal growth, Rob embraces life with playfulness, authenticity, and a willingness to explore new sides of himself—usually with a smile and a healthy dose of laughter.

He is proud to be a member of the Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting and uplifting LGBTQ+ and queer communities both locally and internationally. Known in the order as Sister Deknees on the Ground, Dedicated to Submission (or simply Sister Dedication), Rob channels joy, compassion, and a touch of mischief in service of community care and connection.

At home, Rob enjoys life with his husband of six years and their beloved fur children, Cookie and Bruno. As a family, they love camping, hiking, and finding adventure outdoors—proof that glitter and hiking boots can absolutely coexist. Rob believes that living openly, loving deeply, and giving back are what make life truly fabulous.

I mix science with sass, compassion with confidence, and community care with a little bit of wild energy. Passionate about LGBTQIA+ health, sexual health, harm-reduction, and reminding folks that knowledge, pleasure, and power can exist in the same space.

Flirty, bold, and a little rebellious — I believe in owning your story, no apologies, protecting your peace, and creating your own spotlight instead of waiting to be seen.
